Custom Window Shapes

Let's create something special for your home with custom window shapes

Your home is one of a kind, and your windows can be too. From the charm of historic New Orleans homes to modern builds across the Gulf South, our custom window shapes come in operable and non-operable options, including arches, circles, octagons, extended arches, and extended eyebrows, with more architectural window shapes and orientations available to bring character to any room.

Since the 1950s, LAS Shutters + Windows has helped New Orleans and Gulf South families make their homes feel like their own. Few places take pride in architecture the way this city does, from historic homes with graceful arched windows to cottages and newer builds with their own unique character. Every custom window shape we offer is fabricated to fit your space, and the same local team that builds it also measures, installs, and services it, so the details are handled with care from start to finish.

Whether you're honoring the look of an older home or adding a circle window for a little extra personality, we're here to help you find the shape that fits. Here's a closer look at what goes into every LAS custom shaped window. Ready to get started? Request a free estimate from our team today.

Find the Shape That Fits Your Home

From graceful arches on historic New Orleans homes to circles and octagons that add personality to newer builds, custom shapes can change the whole feel of a room. Browse our gallery below to see how homeowners across the Gulf South have used them to frame a view, brighten a space, or honor the character of an older home.

Every LAS custom shaped window is fabricated locally to fit your home, using arches and non-standard angles to create the exact look you have in mind. Here are some of the shapes our customers love most. This isn't the full list, so if you have something different in mind, just ask. Our team is happy to talk it through.

Arch Windows

The classic. A curved top softens the lines of a room and draws the eye upward, which is why arches show up so often on historic New Orleans homes and on entryways. They're a lovely way to honor an older home's character or add a little old-world charm to a newer one.

Circle Windows

Simple, playful, and full of personality. A circle window works beautifully as an accent in a stairwell, above a front door, or high on a gable, where it brings in light and gives the exterior a touch of unexpected charm.

Octagon Windows

Looking for something a little more distinctive? Eight sides give octagon windows a look you won't see on every street. They make a striking focal point in an entry, a stairwell, or a spot where you want the window itself to be part of the decor.

Extended Arch Windows

An extended arch pairs a curved top with straight sides below it, creating a taller, more elegant window that lets in plenty of light and makes a room feel open. This style is available in an operable single hung version, so you can have the look and open the window for fresh air.

Extended Eyebrow Windows

For a gentler curve, the extended eyebrow adds a soft, shallow arch on top of straight sides. It's a graceful choice when you want a little shape without a full arch, and like the extended arch, it comes in an operable single hung version.
