At LAS Shutters + Windows, we design and craft storm panels that are made for the Gulf South's climate and frequent storms. Our storm-rated panels comply with (or exceed) wind and/or impact ratings for the Florida Building Code, SBCCI standards, and ASTM specifications.

The accompanying sills and headers are available in white, bronze, beige, or ivory. From there, you can choose from the following types of storm panels:

Clear Strength panels
Tinted ePanels
Aluminum storm panels

Looking for uninterrupted views? Check out our Clear Strength panels. They provide outstanding clarity, allowing in sunlight without distortion. Since they're made from a proprietary polycarbonate resin, they're 30% lighter than most clear storm panels and up to 50% lighter than metal options. All of this with superior strength that passes Florida Building Code requirements.

Tinted panels are storm panels made for sunny days. They allow clear lines of sight out of your home but also reduce the amount of light and glare by 50%. This increases your privacy, can lower energy costs, and reduce fading on your furniture and carpets. They're made to be easily secured to your home, but also allow quick egress with their QuickEscape release pins.

Finally, our aluminum storm panels are made from a heavy gauge aluminum that's fabricated with an internal integrated bracing rib for superior strength and rigidity. They're an economical option that stack easily and out of sight when no storms are on the horizon.

We just finished getting new windows from LAS and I can’t be any happier. From start to finish, this job was done professionally. The salesman, Garrett, came to the house on time and explained the windows and the process and answered any questions that we had at the time. He indicated the person who would do the measurements would call and set up an appointment within two weeks and the the windows would be built and installed in about 5 weeks. Well, the job – from the initial estimate to complete install – was three weeks. The installed that completed the job did an excellent job of install, caulking and cleanup. We can’t give them a higher rating. The most amazing thing so far is the look and how much it has cut down on outside noise. I highly recommend LAS and since they are local, from repairs to employing people, we keep it right here at home. We are very satisfied customers.
